ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Are you looking for a way to add a touch of uniqueness to otherwise everyday experiences? Join our workshop on dinner sets for two and embark on a charming creative journey where we'll get to know stoneware clay, the hand-building technique for shaping pottery from rolled clay, and create a beautiful ceramic set.
Workshop Highlights:
Introduction to hand-building pottery technique: We will acquaint ourselves with the hand-building technique for shaping pottery from rolled clay, learning to create minimalist bowls and plates with or without moulds.
Design and planning: Feel free to bring sketches or discuss your preferences during the workshop. You'll have the opportunity to choose elements for your set and customise your design to reflect your personal style.
Handmade plates and bowls: Each participant will be able to create two main course plates and a medium serving platter/bowl, and each piece will carry the unique imprint of your hands.
Surface decoration: We'll explore various processes and techniques for surface decoration, from textures to patterns and painting with an exclusive studio palette.
Glazing and firing: Your products will be thoroughly dried, fired in the ceramic kiln, and glazed, ensuring a beautiful and durable finish suitable for long-term use. All glazes are food-safe.
Final products and usage: 3-4 weeks after the workshop, the products will be ready for pick-up and everyday use. We can also package and send them to your address for free. The products are suitable for dishwasher use.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
For unique beginnings of the day. In the workshop, we will explore 3 techniques of pottery making, including coil-building and the meditative "pinching" technique for crafting coffee or tea cups, where you surrender to shaping pottery in an ancient way, without the use of tools. All you need are your hands and a little inspiration.
Workshop Highlights:
Introduction to hand-building pottery technique: We will familiarise ourselves with the coil-building technique of pottery making from rolled clay, and learn to shape plates or bowls for breakfast. Pinching: We will explore the practical "pinching" technique of pottery making, where we shape functional cups with pinching movements.
Design: You can bring sketches with you or discuss your preferences during the workshop. You will have the opportunity to choose elements of the set and customize your design to reflect your personal style.
Creating trays and bowls: Each participant will be able to make two bowls and two coffee cups, or you can choose another combination of products (plate, tray).
Design and decoration: We will explore various methods and techniques of surface decoration; from textures to patterns and painting in an exclusive studio palette.
Glazing and firing: Your creations will be finally dried, fired in a ceramic kiln, and glazed in the studio, providing them with a beautiful and durable finish suitable for long-term use. All glazes are food-safe.
Final products and usage: 3-4 weeks after the workshop, the items will be ready for collection and everyday use. We can also package and send them to your address free of charge. The products will be dishwasher safe.

This practical workshop is for those who love to host at truly special dining tables. In this workshop, we will use various clay-shaping techniques to create a unique set of serving trays and beautiful salad bowls, using the versatile technique of shaping pottery from rolled clay.
Workshop Highlights:
Introduction to hand-building pottery technique: We will get to know the technique of shaping pottery from rolled clay, learning to create bowls and plates with or without moulds.
Design: Feel free to bring sketches or discuss your preferences during the workshop. Customise the shape, size, and technique to match your personal style and needs.
Creating trays and bowls: Each participant will be able to create one large and one small serving tray and a larger salad bowl.
Design and decoration: We'll explore various surface decoration techniques, add handles, textures, and of course, paint with colors from the exclusive studio palette.
Glazing and firing: Your products will be thoroughly dried, fired, and glazed in the studio, ensuring a beautiful and durable finish suitable for long-term use. All glazes are food-safe.
